Citizens Police Academy Application

The Citizens Police Academy offers a unique and engaging opportunity to learn firsthand about the work of the Brockton Police Department.

Over the course of eight weeks, participants will attend weekly sessions featuring a structured and informative curriculum designed to provide insight into modern policing. Topics and hands-on experiences include Applied Patrol & Criminal Procedures, an Emergency Telecommunications (Dispatch) Overview, a Ride-Along with a Police Officer, a K-9 Demonstration, and much more.

The Academy is also an important bridge between law enforcement and the community. Participants will meet many of the dedicated men and women who serve the City of Brockton each day. These interactions create meaningful dialogue, foster transparency, and strengthen mutual understanding.

Our goal is to build lasting partnerships between Brockton residents, community stakeholders, and members of the Police Department. Through open communication and shared learning, we aim to better understand the needs and concerns of the community we proudly serve.
