COMSTAT

Policing has changed over time and the Brockton Police Department has changed with it. In our effort to stay current and effective we have adopted the COMPSTAT model of policing.

The Department has divided the City into 3 geographic area and designated them as Districts A, B, and C. These districts geographic boundaries were based on police calls for service and divided them evenly.

Each of these districts have a District Commander who has the responsibility to direct resources within their District to reduce and prevent crime.
